Congratulations. You’ve made it through winter (just barely), and are now headed into a hopefully sunshine-drenched spring. Do yourself a favor and move those matte liquid lipsticks and defined contour kits to storage ’til next winter. It’s time to soften those edges, and try something a little lighter for the new season.
Liquid liner has its time and place. But, pencils are back and better than ever. Hynt Beauty’s creamy, non-irritating FORTE High Definition Eye Liner packs a punch, but does so softly. The pencil, which comes in classic brown and black, also features a smudger tip. This makes it incredibly easy for you to smoke out your daily look and add just enough drama to your updated spring edit.
A great way to use this liner in your routine is to lightly layer a warm shadow on the lid, followed by a relatively messy application of the pencil down at your lash line. Then use the smudger tip to blend the liner together with the shadow and create a soft neutral eye that’s full of depth.

If you have a simple no-color balm — like the RMS Beauty Lip & Skin Balm — layer it all around your lid to create a runway-inspired glossy effect. Super easy, and it makes those edges even softer.
So now that you’ve spent a little time smokin’ up your eyes, you’re probably down to your last minute before walking out the door. Whatever comes next has to look great, and be quick.
The 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Lip & Cheek Tint gives your face a healthy dose of spring-infused color in no time at all. It comes in six shades, and has a moisturizing glowy finish that’s free of any stickiness. The shades Cranberry Glow (pictured above) and Cocoa Berry are more pigmented, while the others in the collection are lighter-weight tints. All of the colors are great for sheering out to give a light wash of color.
Cranberry Glow can act as vibrant almost fuschia-like pink, or an almost invisible light-pink glaze, depending on how you wear it. Simply apply a few dots of the tint on the apples of your cheeks and blend out using your fingers or a brush. Then apply to lips directly from the stick or, to go more sheer, use your finger to rub some of the tint onto your lips over-top a balm. In less than a minute you’ll have the perfect spring flush.

Go even more sheer and light. On the cheeks, before you apply 100% Pure tint, apply a layer of balm. Blend well for a subtle breath of color. Add another light layer of balm to the high points of your cheeks for a quick and natural-lit glow. On the lips, start with concentrated color toward the center of your mouth, then blend out softly to the edges. You’ll achieve a super sheer popsicle stain that’s perfect for the season.
